History (JAKANG GROUP)

Packaging Films

JaKang Group launched the film business in 1974 with PE film.
In 2001, it started to manufacture BOPP film. In 2009, it acquired the nylon film factory in Korea from Honeywell USA.
By the acquisition, Jakang Group has become the only company in Korea which manufactures all kinds of flexible packaging films.
The company has specialized in the manufacture of nylon films, industrial OPP, agricultural PE and special packaging films.

Plastic Injection Molding and Painting

JaKang Group’s Injection Molding Division manufactures home appliances parts (for Samsung Electronics and other large companies), automotive parts (for Hyundai & KIA motors, etc.), furniture, and exterior parts for mini-home appliances.
We are a leader in domestic plastic injection molding as an early-stage member of the Association of Samsung Electronics’ Vendors.
